Brandon Byrd, Vice Principal

Brandon Byrd

As Vice Principal of Rocky Mountain Christian Academy, Brandon Byrd is responsible for curricular/instructional growth and integration, student discipline and faculty development and supervision for the school. In his position, Brandon draws on his wealth of education experience developed over his 17-year educational career in positions ranging from 1st grade through high school classroom teacher, classroom teacher and headmaster of the Rafiki Foundation, Inc. — a Christian non-profit for orphans and widows, and Dean of Students for Sterling Classical School in Leander, Texas (Pre-K through 12th). Brandon was a former fifth grade classroom instructor at RMCA in the 2008-2009 school year.

Brandon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and English from Union University and a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from Covenant College. Brandon’s passion for school leadership, classroom instruction and student engagement helps to guide RMCA to its highest potential while he continues to pursue his mission of assisting others in life-learning.

Brandon hails from Tennessee and is married to Melissa; his oldest three of five children attend RMCA. Brandon is thrilled to live in Colorado as he loves waking up and seeing the mountains at his doorstep, every day.

Stacy LindStacy Lind, Early Education Director 

Mrs. Lind joined RMCA in 2004 as a Mom’s Day Out teacher, and in 2005 moved to the preschool program as teacher’s aide and lead teacher. She holds a degree in Applied Human Science from CSU, Early Childhood and Director qualifications from Front Range Community College. She has been a member of Rocky Mountain Christian Church since 1999, where she has been involved in leadership with MOPS and Sunday School. Mrs. Lind was born in the Chicago area and moved to Greeley in junior high. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Rick, and their two daughters.
