Carmen Connolly, Kindergarten Aide
Mrs. Connolly joined RMCA in 2011. She has a B.S. in Biology from Bowie State University and has a diverse work background, including medical research, dentistry, sales, and teaching. She has been a preschool teacher, substitute teacher, and a teacher’s aide since 2005. She and her husband Thomas have a daughter who attends RMCA and they worship at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Longmont. Mrs. Connolly was born and raised in the Washington DC area and has lived in MD, DC, PA, VA and FL, but calls Colorado her home. She loves to be in the mountains hiking, skiing, camping and spending quality time with her family. She also enjoys gardening, reading and performing arts, as well as exploring new places.
Vicky Farrar, Preschool Aide 3/4
Mrs. Farrar was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She joined RMCA as a Preschool Aide in 2013. She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri. She has completed Early Childhood Education classes to be group leader certified. She and her husband Doug have to children, Matt and Laura, both RMCA alumni. They attend Flatirons Bible Church.
Dana Gray, Teachers’ Aide
Mrs. Gray joined RMCA’s staff in 2006 serving as Teacher’s Aide. She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated with a B.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Memphis. Mrs. Gray has experience working in a children’s museum and the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center, as well as leading the children’s ministry of Bible Study Fellowship. She and her husband, Michael, moved to Longmont in 1996, where Mrs. Gray loves the outdoors—hiking, camping, skiing, biking, and walking her dog. Her two daughters are RMCA alumni.
Sue Hamilton, Preschool Aide 3/4
Mrs. Hamilton is a Teacher’s Assistant in our preschool program. She began teaching at RMCA in 2008. She and her husband Robert moved to Colorado after they married, and have raised two grown children. After running her own business and working in retail sales, she completed classes at Front Range Community College for Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Hamilton has taught Sunday school for many years and attends Flatirons Community Church in Lafayette. Her favorite free-time activities include spending time with her granddaughters and riding motorcycles in the mountains with her husband.
Mary Tallman, Pre-K Aide
Mrs. Tallman joined RMCA in 2007 as a substitute in the Mom’s Day Out and Preschool programs, becoming an Aide for Pre-K in 2008. Mrs. Tallman holds Early Childhood qualifications from Front Range Community College. Mrs. Tallman and her husband, Dan, have triplets who attend RMCA. She and her family attend Rocky Mountain Christian Church, where she has facilitated a Pre-K Sunday School class since 2004. Mrs. Tallman enjoys attending all the different sports games her children are involved in, spending time with family and friends, and reading.
Melissa Young, Teachers’ Aide
Mrs. Young began working at RMCA in 2014. She holds a B.S. in Human Resources from the University of Colorado. She has a background in Accounting, HR and Management. She was born and raised in Oklahoma City and moved to Boulder in 1991. She and her husband Olan, and their two children love to snowboard and go four-wheeling in their jeep. They attend Flatirons Community Church.
